MacWorld keynote today

What will Steve Jobs unveil this year?

It’s keynote speech time at the annual lovefest that is known as MacWorld Conference 2006; my prediction is that the Apple guru will debut the first in a line of Intel-processor Macs, probably in the notebook area. Jobs will also roll out a revised Mac mini as the centerpiece of a digital hub for the home; new iPod shuffles with bigger flash drives and, of course, there will be a new version of iLife.

My wildest guess that probably won’t see the light of day? A beefed up iMac with TWO G5 processors and a new FrontRow software interface.

Besides that…who knows? He also has one or two things held close to his vest that no one can ever predict.

Your guesses?
